  • Learning Objectives: Upon completion of this course, the student shall be able to:

    A.Apply spreadsheets to solve problems as related to Agriculture.

    B. Display data in graphic form.

    C. Sort data within spreadsheets.

    D. Extract data and create reports from same data.

  • Advanced Ag Seminar is designed to prepare Agriculture students with the proper skills and resources to join the work force or continue with their education. Students will be introduced to industry leaders and will explore current issues in Agriculture.

  • This course is designed to prepare Ag Production / Business students for their spring internships.

  • This course is designed for students interested in gained knowledge and experience in GIS and GPS systems as well as other information management programs.
  • This course is designed to provide students with information in how computers are utilized in agriculture. Standard Microsoft Office 2007 is utilized for the production of word, spreadsheet, powerpoint and database documents. Available lab software is also used to learn applications in management.

  • This class is designed to provide students with information regarding the handling of various agriculture products and the equipment involved with these processes.
  • This class will introduce students to Integrated Pest Management, pesticide labeling, uses and handling. After completion of this course students should be able to successfully pass the Illinois private or comercial applicator exam.
